Yee receives Holy Spirit Medical Center’s BEE Award

Htwe Yee, a patient care associate in the Cardiac Special Care Unit, is the recipient of Holy Spirit Medical Center’s BEE (Be Extraordinary Every day) Award.

“She approaches her role with an incredible level of commitment, treating each patient with utmost care and compassion, as if they were her own family,” Yee’s nominator wrote. “What sets her apart is her keen sense of intuition and observation. She possesses an innate ability to recognize when something is amiss with a patient and promptly alerts the nurse, ensuring that timely intervention is provided.”

The nominator recognized Yee’s tireless work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond her assigned tasks.

The Nursing Department presents the BEE Award several times a year to non-nurse team members, who provide extraordinary care to patients, visitors and each other. Recipients receive a pin, honey, chocolate and a certificate.
