Penn State Health Labor and Delivery units across central Pennsylvania celebrated the new year by welcoming the first babies of 2024.

The health system’s first baby of the new year was born at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center shortly after the clock struck midnight. At 12:53 a.m., Cameron Renegade Paul was born to Britni and Rich Paul of Lower Windsor Township. Cameron weighs 7 pounds, 1 ounce and measures 22 inches.
Elsewhere in the health system, Olivia and Justin Walker, of Hummelstown, welcomed baby Rowan William Walker at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at 5:58 a.m. Rowan was born weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.
At Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, little Enzo Andres Peña was born at 11:42 p.m. on Jan. 1, to Cyntia Galan and Yieury Peña of Shoemakersville, PA. He weighs in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measures 20 inches.
And at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, Kyrsten Worley and Josh Lundy of Carlisle welcomed their baby, Ezekiel Charles Lundy, at 9:38 p.m. Ezekiel was born weighing 10 pounds and measuring 21 inches.
