With an average wait time of 10 minutes or less, the Penn State Health OnDemand app provides quick care for various common illnesses and injuries such as fever, skin irritations, stomach pain, sinusitis, joint discomfort, ear infections and migraines.
To access care via Penn State Health OnDemand:
- Open the Penn State Health OnDemand app on your smart phone or visit com, using the Google Chrome browser for the best experience. The app can be downloaded directly for iOS or Android mobile devices.
- Enter or create your secure username and password.
- Choose a medical provider and start your video visit.
Services include diagnosis, referrals, prescriptions and more. Copays for Penn State Health OnDemand visits are comparable to standard doctor visit copays and often lower than urgent care or emergency room visits. Most health insurance plans cover virtual health services, but some have limitations on the type of care you can receive from home. Check with your insurance provider to understand your coverage for virtual care.
